The Consorzio città romana di Suasa in now online, even though it is still in an experimental phase. This site contains information on the archeological park of Castelleone di Suasa and on the museums and architectural buildings and attractions of the towns of Corinaldo, Serra De’ Conti, San Lorenzo in Campo, Arcevia and Mondavio. These towns make up a consortium called “Consorzio città romana di Suasa”, that was founded in 1994, which in the past managed the archeological park. The site includes information on how to get to Suasa, and the history of the old town, ticket prices for the park and the museums, as well as information on where to buy local products such as salami, honey, wine, meat, etc…

The site started off as a trial project in February 2006 aimed at an international audience interested in travel. The exhibit “Gentile da Fabriano e l?altro Rinascimento” has helped launch other shows and exhibits for tourists curious about the Renaissance visiting this area of Le Marche. The City Hall of Fabriano and tourist offices of Le Marche will be issuing the “Gentile Card” in mid-April, giving tourists discounts on museums, the Grotte di Frasassi (Frasassi Caves), special exhibits, theatres, local products, shopping in outlets and much more. A special portal dedicated to tourism will also be launched along with the “Gentile Card”.
